Bishop Paul Richardson, assisted by the Reverend Scott Moncrieff officiated at a Mass at which the Sisters added the vows of stability and conversion of life (which includes the vows of poverty and chastity) to the vows they had already taken. Sr Rita was formally installed as the Reverend Mother Rita Mary.
The Sisters followed a rhythm of life centered on the worship of God in the daily Eucharist and the seven-fold Office. When the sisters perceived in some of their guests a genuine longing to take the Spirit of the life back with them into the world, the Oblate order was established in 1997.
